October 6, 2013 – Healing the Country’s Consciousness

Healing the Country’s Consciousness

Our scientific understanding of intuition is growing. In work on the electromagnetic field of the heart, 4 subjects were wired up. 3 sent expressions of love (appreciation, care, and compassion) to the 4th, who had no clue about heart coherence. Yet his coherence response was very high. He even found it more difficult than usual to get into incoherence and feelings of discord and separation.

Jesus taught, “Love one another.” Were His teachings actually instructions on the work of transforming human kind? His instructions that we are beginning to learn not only lift us each up individually, but change the very fabric of humankind. Love heals the collective unconscious.

When I saw all the violence on the news, I went into judgment. It does feel good to know when I am right. But I had to ask, “What is the contribution we make to that experience of violence? What is needing healing?” Physical violence is an expression of pain, and thus a call for healing. Emotional violence is a call for healing emotional pain. Where we use our control of finances to hurt others financially is financial violence. In Congress, it is an out-picturing of the government’s consciousness, and since it is our government, of our consciousness.

I choose to send love when I see violence. It is our work. We can’t play the blame game anymore. Here we have made a conscious commitment to change violence in the world. Every Sunday we attune ourselves to love and radiate it out to others because it is part of our work. The experience of financial violence is our opportunity to heal the pain deep in our society experienced as financial loss.

What energy of love would heal that? The energy of unconditional love. Feel it go out from your heart. I noticed, however, I didn’t feel it for “them”, but I could feel it for any number of special people in my life. So I just let myself feel unconditional love for a loved one and then I can send that out to anyone! “I enfold you in unconditional love!” Send it to our congressmen, regardless of party, “I enfold you in unconditional love!” —to those doing financial violence in our society, and to those afraid in their own homes of financial violence. “I enfold you in unconditional love!” Send it to members of your own family, too. There is a world seeking to heal. You are here because you are a part of the Presence. You are unconditional love!

June 9, 2013 – The Lazarus Blueprint

6/9/13 Rev. Suzanne Leonard
The Lazarus Blueprint

The story of Jesus raising Lazarus from the tomb teaches us to bring back to life a state within us that has been dead. Use the power of your voice. There are 100 trillion cells excited about what you’re going to say. A hundred trillion cells wait the direction of your voice.

Your own voice is the most important voice for you to hear. Recently I broke my foot. The x-rays showed the foot, which is God’s although I am using it, was broken in 3 places. I did not claim this as mine. Aloud, I gave thanks and claimed health. I used the “G” force—I claimed my Good, my Glory, my Growth, and my Guidance. As givers we miss the receiving part. (Just try to breath out without breathing in.) Your heart has to open and close. You have to be “in circulation”. As the medical professionals tended to me, I spoke to myself, “I’ll co-operate with your healing while instituting mine.” There was hardly any pain. Today I am walking in high-heels!

Lazarus was already dead when Jesus arrived at his home. But Jesus is the perfect presence, and had taken the time to prepare. So He had arrived at the point in time in which the miracle needed to happen. The Lazarus in you is the unhealed part, the pain entombed in a dark corner of you. Arrive at the point in the time that healing needs to happen. Roll away the stone of believing in your problem and let the “stink” come out, and with it the possibility of healing. Mary and Martha are the hope, the knowing that something else can be done. Explore and then expect healing. Jesus spoke with laser-like expectancy, “Lazarus, come out!” Not someday. Now is the time.

Then give thanks before receiving! Write a pre-thank-you card. Pre-pray the situation, put your light out there. “Come out!” Heal what is entombed in you. What are you waiting for?

Then “Unbind him and let him go!” Pray the prayers and walk the steps. Use affirmations and evict those negative people in your head. “Open sesame!” It’s the power with which you say it—the conviction. I invite you to roll away the stones in your life today. Unbind what you were told you are and be the person you truly are. You are precious to your family, your community, the world. Step forth and be who you are! God bless you!

April 21, 2013 – Our True Work – Healing the Heart

Our True Work—Healing The Heart

There are things that keep us from our peace—places of pain on our journey. Our assignment as spiritual beings is that when we see something which is less than the magnificence which we are, then it is time to heal it. We remember God is good all the time—even in Boston this week—but sometimes it’s hard to get to that knowing. However, life doesn’t happen to us, but for us.

A dedicated, loving ministerial student faced her final oral exam before the academic board. However, she was turned down for her diploma. She turned to a colleague for help in dealing with the rejection, but instead of asking him to commiserate with her, she asked he stand with her as she journeyed within to the place where she harbored a deep childhood hurt. It had caused the behavior which was the basis for her rejection. From her mature self, she loved that hurt little girl inside, assuring her she wasn’t there to hurt her, but to love her. That it was safe. She poured love out to her again and again. She opened up and let love in, and was at peace. Healed, she went back to the board, which was so impressed with her they granted her the diploma.

You are a beautiful being who came in not only to do it for yourself but for all others. When we recognize something which is less than magnificent in others it is because that same thing is alive in us. We have journeyed to heal it. You are not powerless and nothing can come into your life without you allowing it. What you do within is played out. You know how to do it because you know how to love. It is the Presence, the Power, because that is who you are! After the explosions in Boston, people ran toward the chaos to help. They responded with compassion. A whole world responded with compassion, deep love, and prayer. It is not what happens, but what we do about it. These things are part of the goodness that we experience. God is good all the time. Let Her show you a part of you that if you bring it to wholeness it will touch the heart and heal all of mankind. At times like these, “why?” is the next question, and now it is answered.

September 9, 2012 – Spirit in Healing

9/9/12 Rev. David McArthur & Dr. Len Saputo

Spirit in Healing

We have the most effective bio-feedback instrument ever created. It tells us when it’s time to do some spiritual work. It’s called the body. Spiritual Life comes into the world, and into our experience, as the body.

Dr. Len Saputo supports us via the medical profession. “My work and your work, [David], is the same work.” Body attune-ment can be medical or spiritual. The body is not just different parts, but one thing—integrated mind, body, and spirit. We are spiritual beings on a physical path.

Two years ago Dr. Saputo had a hip replacement but developed a life-threatening case of cobalt poisoning. “I made peace with God because I was totally convinced I would die.” Dr. Saputo’s colleagues were convinced he had an infection, as the cobalt poisoning in this kind of situation was relatively unknown. But Dr. Saputo’s insight and guidance from within said it was something different. “God and I had a chat. I became humble; I knew dying was not my decision. But I had family and friends; I had knowledge to share. So I let go and told God, ‘Whatever it is You want, it’s ok.’” Where ever you go there are always advisers, but the decider is always within. “It was frightening to go against my colleagues. But my heart was telling me something different.” After the second hip replacement surgery, Dr.Saputo was told there was no infection. It had been the cobalt poisoning.

We need to evolve to a higher level of consciousness and ask, “How can I be of service; what can I give or share?” It’s a matter of Trust. Let go and let God do the work. He knows what he’s doing. All the worry in the world won’t solve anything. And when we accept our inner guidance there comes a feeling of peace. It’s part of knowing we are really connected—the overwhelming feeling of peace.

Another part of an experience like this, in which you are asked to let go and let God, is coming forward into the next level of service and purpose of life. It is saying, “yes”. You can revolve around all that’s going wrong in our world, or you can stop and evolve. Just do the first foot of your “1000 mile journey”. Without you doing it, it won’t happen. That will change the world, little by little. You might evolve a few friends, or a city! Do it together and we will have a better world!

That spiritual flow is you—you are the wisdom and power that is here to uplift the world. Say yes!

September 2, 2012 – Myrtle Fillmore on Healing

9/2/12 Rev. David McArthur

Myrtle Fillmore on Healing

As a spiritual being journeying through a human experience, we go through the experience of healing. The dream of a young school girl shows us the symbols of healing– “Stepping out of the forest she sees a beautiful stream with a sandy bottom, but no water is flowing. Along the sides there are bowls of water, so water is present but not flowing. Upstream there is a large rock outcropping, appearing to block the flow. Down stream there are more large stones. She asks, “Where is the water?” Water itself seems to answer her, welling up over the rocks upstream and filling the stream before her.”

The young girl was Myrtle Fillmore. When a grown woman she developed tuberculosis and was given less than 2 years to live. Interpreting her childhood dream, she explained that the flow of water was the flow of life inside her, and that the lack of flow was her experience of the TB. She then healed herself by taking the time everyday to go and be alone. She had a second empty chair there with her. She said it represented the presence of Jesus Christ, which she referred to as that consciousness of Jesus committed to the full awareness of the Christ, master over the physical world. Thus she was thereby taking complete responsibility for her physical well being.

Hear the love she brings to her body in this process as she directed these words to various parts of her body: (speak them aloud to bring in a powerful healing vibration)

My liver is full of vigor and energy.
My stomach is not weak or inefficient, but energetic and strong.
My abdomen is all a-thrill with the sweet, pure, wholesome energy of God.
My eyes express the sight of Spirit, drawing upon an unlimited source. They are young, clear, bright eyes shining the light of God right through them.
In my heart the pure love of Christ flows in and out by its beating.
The life centers in my body are free unlimited Spirit, centers of life and energy omnipresent.
I do not let any worried or anxious thoughts into my mind.
Jesus Christ is with me and helps me to think and speak only kind, loving, true words.

Remember you are free unlimited Spirit. What fun it is to tell your body to get well and get going!
