• 2024-09-08 The Grace of God GUEST: Bob Hardy Bob Hardy delivers a heartfelt exploration of divine grace, reminding us that grace is not something we earn but something we inherently are as expressions of God. Through personal stories - from a childhood roller coaster ride with his father to a transformative process painting of a ship being guided by God's hand - Bob illustrates how grace flows through every moment of our lives, even amid the distractions and anxieties of modern living. He invites the congregation to share their own experiences of grace, revealing powerful testimonies of divine protection and transformation, and encourages everyone to remember that the grace of God flows through us and expresses as us in all that we do.
• 2024-04-28 Love and Connection Rev. Bob Hardy Rev. Bob Hardy shares his personal journey from a rigid Catholic upbringing through the loss of his father at 17, a successful engineering career, and ultimately finding spiritual freedom in Unity - weaving humor and vulnerability throughout. Drawing on his experience as an ordained interfaith minister, artist, and engineer, Rev. Bob Hardy introduces a powerful practice called "Setting the Arena," developed by coach Maria Nemeth, which involves asking two transformative questions before any interaction to cultivate openness and connection. He invites the congregation to actively practice choosing qualities of being that produce extraordinary, delightful outcomes in every conversation and relationship.
• 2021-10-17 October 17, 2021 – Transforming the Wasteland Bob Hardy Bob Hardy explores the concept of "Transforming the Wasteland" from The Path of the Holy Fool, inviting us to recognize how social media, constant news, and digital distractions have narrowed our perspectives and pulled us into isolation and overwhelm. Drawing on the hero's journey of Perseval, the Unity principles, and his own creative paint work, Bob Hardy reminds us that our God-given power of imagination is the key to finding our way forward out of confusion and stagnation. He encourages us to disconnect from the noise, reconnect with prayer and meditation, and remember that we are co-creators with God - capable of transforming any wasteland through commitment, vision, and action.
• 2020-07-26 July 26, 2020 – The Changing Of The Guard Rev. Bob Hardy Rev. Bob Hardy shares a powerful message about releasing the inner guard of old habits, fears, and self-talk that keep us small and comfortable rather than fully alive. Drawing from his own journey - from a fear-based Catholic upbringing through profound loss to discovering Unity's transformative teaching that we are in direct partnership with God - Rev. Bob Hardy invites us to chip away at what no longer serves us, much like Michelangelo releasing David from marble. He encourages us to change our inner guard through meditation, creative expression, and daily time with "God Radio" in our hearts, asking what wants to be revealed and released so we can embrace a fearless new vision for our lives.
